International Day at Buckswood is a great success

The annual International Day at Buckswood School welcomed 300 guests as the doors were opened to the public for the very first time.

Due to the multi-national make-up of the students at Buckswood, more than 30 different nations are represented, the International Day provides an opportunity to experience and celebrate the diverse food and cultures.

The students fully embrace the day, wearing their national costume and sharing their national dishes, just a sample of what was on offer included Boerwors (South African sausage) and Red Bush tea, Swiss Raclette Cheese, Japanese Sushi and Algerian Chicken with lemon.

As always the event was in aid of charity in Swaziland and raised £1,140.00
